Collection-Import Preparation

Before importing, review the export or file you intend to use and remove material that does not belong in the workspace. Keep real copies and reference records distinct: Trove supplies shared reference details, while Catalog holds copy-specific condition, storage, notes, custom fields, signatures, and actual-item photos.

Use Catalog to add a real copy from Trove or import a reviewed CLZ file. A copy that still needs a Trove match should remain visible for review rather than being treated as a completed match. Archiving removes a copy from the active Catalog without deleting the shared Trove issue.

Do not post an import file, customer information, private notes, storage details, account data, passwords, API keys, or credentials in a public topic. Ask private support when the question requires those facts.
